Zero studios began life in Glasgow ,Scotland in 1992.It ‘s owner Roger Shepherd had been based in Glasgow working and recording as an artist with Marina/Intercord(emi) records .The group Mindstore were together for 3 years and in that time Roger worked with some great people in the studio and in concert.
The studio has aquired some lovely equipment over the years and has been always able to improve the sound quality and provide a good range of instruments and outboard gear .
The general philosophy at Zero is “vintage warmth and fat dynamics”with a fair selection of classic effects ,microphones ,pre –amp’s,eq,compression etc.This helps the studio get that rich warm sound.
 zero still use tape machines for the recording –it gives the classic tape saturation that is missing on some digital recordings.

Now situated in Toulouse, France ZERO  has begun working with local acts,new and more established aswell as still working with  projects in the UK.
